WELCOME Nizhoni DW Tirzah
I've been waiting a year for this beautiful little one. This is Nizhoni's DW Tirzah. Her name means Delight in Hebrew. She is a chocolate Chamoisee out of MCH Esperanza SJ Patience and Joie's sire Nizhoni PV Desert Wind. She is all that and then some!!!! I am loving this baby. WE are trying to get Joie to raise her little sister but so far she's not cooperating without some HELP. This baby is angular, well built and has a lovely sweet personality. I can't wait to watch this little beauty grow. I also look forward to the milkng possibilities with her. She comes from some wonderful milky parents.
The Best Laid Plans ......GO HAYWIRE!
Okay - no picture for this. So, because I thought I had my herd settled and was getting ready for breeding season and was beginning to post my breeding plans they suddenly went awry. Jazzy decided that he was going to "sing" to the girls ALL NIGHT LONG. Now ordinarily that wouldn't be a problem but we ONLY live on a half an acre with VERY close neighbors on all sides we aren't going to be able to keep him. Thankfully we found a good breeding home for Mr. Jazz where is going to be shown and appreciated for his breeding abilities. I hope all the lovely ladies at PrairieWood enjoy his crooning and serenading. I know I appreciate Lora for giving Jazzy a really good home. I will miss his Jazzy self but I can't do (nor can my neighbors) 4+ months of his vocal capabilities. Not too mention I woke up (heehee, not sure I ever REALLY slept) really pooped. So anyway - we have to rethink our breeding plans. Will have more on our lineup real soon.

Piddlin Acres H Calm the Storm.
Here is CBF Nigerian's newest buck. He sired a doeling out of one of our does this spring and she has done INCREDIBLE for her owner. I'm very pleased with the dairy character and strait legs etc. on the doeling. She is lovely! When Storm came up for sale I jumped at the chance to buy him as that cross into my lines worked sooooo well. Storm is out of Piddlin Acres TB Hansel (Lost Valley Tae Bo X Piddlin Acres Fraulin) and Piddline Acres PV Tansy (Piddlin Acres BW Peaceful Voyage X Piddlin Acres WB Paprika). This brings in some of my most favorite lines in Valerie's herd - most notably - Peaceful Voyage, Weisbaden, and Fraulin) Joie is a Peaceful Voyage granddaughter and I love what she has done for my herd so I have HIGH hopes for this little guy. I've been wanting a Fraulin buckling for a long time but financially it hasn't worked - so now I have her grandson. Thank you Sandy for giving me a shot at Storm. I can't wait to see the kid crop this coming year.

BREEDING SEASON
Now that the shows are over and we have a moment's rest from sales, shaving, and showing we are beginning to think through our fall lineup. This is the pair I have pictures for. This is Flying Goat Jazzy Blues at 7 mo and CBF TWinkle Lil Star at 5 mo. They will be bred in late Oct or Early November for spring kid crop. My first two doelings are already reserved and we are considering taking ONE more doe kid reservation as we will be breeding 3, possibly 4 does.
El Cerro Wind in the willows will be leaving us soon for a new home - she will be sorely missed as she has done CBF Nigerians proud with two outstanding and wonderful daughters. Janice - I hope she produces some outstanding offspring for your farm as she did for ours. Jazzy will be available for service to CAE free does beginning in Sept.
