CBF Ent's Whistlin' Dixie - Jr. Grand Champion (AGS)

This is our little doe Dixie who we took to the show so my 4 year old could show and to get some "show experience" . Little did we know our little Dixie Darling would come home with a 2nd in the morning show (to our new buck's sister Flying Goat Annabelle)
and 1st plus a Jr. Grand Champion! In this case, Good things came in a small package - we NEVER expected to even be in the top of the class with the second youngest doe there - the youngest doe - Dixie's half sister CBF Ent's Twinkle Lil'Star didn't do as well but we still adore her - her mom is terrific and a great milker so she's still a keeper in our minds!
Dixie is out of CBF Entei and El Cerro Wind in the Willows. Thank you Valerie for picking our little Dixie for Jr. Grand! We just thought she might be something special when she was born.

CRASH is sold!

Little Crash left the farm yesterday for his new home at Laughing Orca Ranch in the East Mountains. Thank you Lisa and Family for giving little Crash a new home. I know he's going to be very loved and spoiled rotten!!!!!

CBF Serendipidy's Laikla

This beautiful goat was the first nigie doe born here at CBF Nigerians - CBF Seredipidy's Laikla. She is a nearly 2 yo First Freshener.
She had triplets not too long ago and the judges commented on her capacious, productive, well attached FF Udder. She too was invited back to the Best Udder in Show class by the AM judge. Congrats to Linda, Nora and Natalia Sedillo on their wins yesterday with both Laikla and Zelda (Also invited to the BUS class!) She did CBF and El CErro Wind in the Willows proud yesterday!!!!! She will be joining us (we hope) on the one day milk test on April 19, 2008.
I wouldn't be one bit surprised if she starred.

Nizhoni's Joie de Vivre

This is Nizhoni's Joie de Vivre. She placed 1st in the Freshened Yearling class as a 2nd freshener. She was also invited back for the Best Udder in Show class. Her and the 2 other yearlings who were invited back were still beat out by a much older doe who was made a Master Champion yesterday (3-29-2008). She also placed 2nd in the PM show. Thank you for showing Miss Joie for me Darlene. She will go on a one day milk test April 19.

Can't wait to get some numbers on this little beauty. We have high hopes for her little daughter as well - CBF Ent's Twinkle Lil' Star

Nizhoni's Shihara's Mace

This is our little 8 mo old doeling Nizhoni's Shihara's Mace who is a very correct doeling. She placed 1st and 2nd in her classes under Judges Carrie Baker-Khale and Valerie Ciesnyski. The Judge in the AM show said she practically shows herself and despite out BAD clip job the PM judge said thankfully it didn't detract from such a well put together doe!!! (What a Relief). We have hopes for this little doe out of Nizhoni's Arwen Evenstar and MCH Steele Ballew's Blue Bayou. Thank you again Darlene for this precious little doe.

Show Brag: Flying Goat Jazzy Blues

The itty bitty black and white in front is Flying Goat Jazzy Blues, our new herdsire (one of!). He attended March Madness SWNDGC show 3-29-2008 in NM. He took a first and Reserve Jr. Champion under Judge Carrie Baker-Khale (Thank YOU!) and a first under Judge Valerie Ciesnyski (Thank YOU!) He is out of Prairie Wood Bella and Prairie Wood Huckleberry. Thank you so much Kat for this wonderful little boy!!!! Can't wait to see what he does for our herd this coming year!

and soooo spoiled.

Our newest HERDSIRE is Born!

Thank you to DesertNanny EC Ice Blue Pearl and DesertNanny HB Jack Sparrow for giving us three boys to choose from the boys were born a few days ago and we are going to get. It is currently between a black and white blue eyed boy or a Chamoise blue eyed boy! NOT an easy choice as they are both beautiful little boys. This is the fulfillment of a dream in the making for about 2 years for me - since I saw the handsome Jack Sparrow on Rancho Esperanza Nigerians website as a Junior buck!!! I cannot wait to bring these wonderful bloodlines into my herd and begin a whole new phase in our breeding program. Thank you so much Sharon Warren and your wonderful goats for making this dream come true!!!!!!!!!!!

CBF Entei is SOLD

Our wonderful herdsire is sold. I was sad to see him go but he went home to help a new family
start their herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats. He is going to be happy when he gets to his new home - with his new harem of 4 does. Lucky boy!!! It is a bittersweet day for us as I just found out my first choice doe from Rancho Esperanza isn't bred. That was a bit of a blow. I really had hoped for a Kachina Doll/Jack Sparrow son to be our 2nd new herdsire. We still are hoping that Pearl or Ice Sculpture might throw us something as well.

Racer is SOLD

Another of our baby boys has found himself a new wonderful home. Thank you Jan and family for giving this boy a loving home and new playmate - a deer named Millie! It will be hard to see him go but again, we are pleased as punch this little sweetie is going to a loving home where he will be treasured!

Entei's last babies are here.

Friday morning Grey's NGoats Zelda owned by the Sedillo family delivered a single red gold chamois
buckling out of our Entei and later that evening CBF Seredipidy's Laikla delivered triplets (2 does and 1 Big buckling) The triplets look like peas in a bod with their similar color/patterns. All of them a good combination of mom and dad. Boy is it going to be hard for the Sedillos to pick who to keep.
Thanks Sedillos for letting me take pics of Entei's last two litters bunch of Cuties!!!
