Welcome our Newest Herd member.

My kiddos decided to do something different this coming year in 4H. Meat Goats. So I called my friend at SbarH Dairy Goats who I knew was crossing some of her Alpines to a Boer buck to find out what she might have available in the spring. After talking for a while she made me an offer I could NOT refuse.
Pearl Valley Laredo Narnia (Pearl Valley Yreka Laredo *B X Pearl Valley SDHB Nivasha 8*M) pregnant to her Boer buck. Not only is she a lovely little Alpine doe she is a Jr. Champion from some wonderful bloodlines and from a CAE Neg. Herd raised on CAE prevention. We weren't sure this is what we wanted but now that Narnia has been with us for 2 days, well, we are pretty convinced we were BLESSED!!!!!!

Yep, Narnia is fitting in fine here at CBF Nigerians. We hope she throws us a couple of twin Boer crosses for the kids to show and Kathy told us she is a very nice and easy milker. So, welcome Miss Narnia, we are glad you are here. Thank you so much Carl, Kathy and Jean!!!!

Updated Photos of PiddlinAcres H Calm the Storm

I got Mr. Storm up on the stand this morning for hooftrimming and thought this would be the perfect time for pictures so here he is in all his stinky buck glory. Both CBF Ent's Whistling Dixie and CBF Ent's Twinkle lil Star came into heat this weekend so lucky boy got some girls finally. Also, the young lady down the street has decided to repeat the breeding from last year - Storm and CBF Chikorita that produced the lovely little doeling CBF Kimberly Moon. I sold Chikorita bred to Storm. Kimberly is a lovely little dairy doe and because she carries similar lines to our own CBF Ent's Whistling Dixie we thought that would be a SWEET combo! Yep, Very excited to see what these pairing produce. All of our babies are due at the end of March so if you see something that interests you, do not hesitate to contact us. I know the babies from Chikorita and Storm will be for sale this year so if you are interested you can contact me for more information. Some of these does are great combos of breeding from the Lost Valley, PrairieWood, PiddlinAcres,TwinCreeks lines.
Chikorita has a crooked front leg and Storm straitened that trait up in Kimberly, she is very dairy and has a long level topline as well as very nice angulation - Can't wait to see all these young girls from our herd freshen to see if we are on the right track!

Breeding has Commenced

This is Nizhoni's Joie de Vivre's Beau. Piddlin Acres KR Tapdance
who is out of Piddlin Acres KM King's Ransom and MCH PiddlinAcres Bobby Sox. I have wanted to breed to this boy for a very long time and since I had a breeding come with my doe to any of Darlene's bucks, I decided that we would finally cash that in. Joie spent a week with this handsome boy and we are pretty sure she's bred.

I wanted to get a pic of the pair but Joie moved and I cut off her head. But here is a sort of decent side view of Mr. Tapdance. I have liked this boy since I saw him shown as a Jr. buck and I've LOVED everything out of him so far. I tried to buy a doe out of him (Foxtrot) who has a lovely udder and a nice dairy body. When i spent a time with Darlene earlier picking up Tirzah I went around pointing to babies I really like and they were all out of Tapdance and Orion. HMMM - a free breeding came with Tirzah - may have to take her to visit Orion!!!!! We are hoping this will be a beautiful combination of some of the best PiddlinAcres has to offer with a bit of TwinCreeks thrown in for good measure. Can't wait to see what this pair produces: I hoping for DOES!!!!
