These are some great pics of the big man around CBF. We took him to the park in the early evening and took some great shots before going home. He is a wonderful dog whom we all love very much. We are allowing limited breedings to Matthias in the Albuquerque Area. Matthias has some pretty good Championship lines including Sylabru's Alias Flynn who is an International and AKC champion. Matthias is working on becomming an Obedience and Jr. Handler dog for my daughter. Matthias is double registered in UKC and AKC.

Oberhasli's are HERE!
This is a little late (two weeks actually) but we are welcoming CBF Shadow and CBF Butch Cassidy.
Shadow is the first pic and Butch the second. They are some of the nicest Oberhaslis we've had so far. Beautiful perfect color, Nice long backs. Both are for sale for $100 (buck intact). IF Butch is not sold as a wether by 6 weeks he will be wethered and up for sale for $50. Nice calm personalities and quiet. Amazing. Their dad is the son of a National Grand Champion and their mom is my mega milker. Last year we were getting 1.25 gallons per day and she is a three year old 3rd Freshener.

Finally a Picture of CBF Twinkle Lil' Star
Cap'n Kidd Ready for show.
Here is little (never mind that he is the same size as my 4mo buck) DesertNanny JK Blue Cap'n Kidd. He looks so handsome all shaved. I do miss his silky soft baby fuzz though, truly! Sometimes I wish we didn't have to shave for shows. Can't wait to see how he does at the show despite the fact that little baby goats don't do well.
Shihara Shaved!
I began to shave goats for shows and thought I'd update the goat pics on my blog. Here is Nizhoni's Shihara's Mace. My daughter's goat. I wish she would have faced the camara. She's a nice correct doe. She may also be pregnant for late Aug. babies. A doeling is already reserved out of her if she has one for Ms. Ruiz. Hope she does well at the show this weekend.

Milk Test REVISITED.
Player did it BIG. Prairie Wood Player did get her star with nearly 61 points. She
is a mega milker. We are so pleased since her grandson is one of our two new
herdsires! YIPPEE! We hope he carries the mega milkies in his genes and passes it on to
our babies. WAY TO GO PLAYER, JOIE, LAIKLA! There is two more goats in the testing group whom we have not heard the results on so we are waiting for GOOD news from those as well.

IT IS OFFICIAL - Milk Test Results.
We've been anxiously awaiting our milk test results and finally received them today in the email box. Nizhoni's Joie de Vivre and CBF Seredipidy's Laikla both received stars. I know other does did as well but not sure who yet.
Nizhoni's Joie de Vivre *D age 1.11 at 20 4/8 inches milked 3.2 lbs of milk at 65 days fresh with 6.9% butterfat and 3.8 % protein for a total score of 45.88
El Cerro Wind in the Willow's daughter
CBF Serendipidy's Laikla *D age 2.00 at 20 6/8 inches milked 3.2 lbs of milk at 50 days fresh with 5.8% butterfat and 3.5 % protein for a total score of 41.14.
We are so proud of these girls. I believe that Flying Goat Jazzy Blue's Grandmother also starred with 3.6 lbs of milk and 9.9% butterfat. Her name is PrairieWood Player and can be seen on the Senior Doe page of Prairie Wood Ranch's website (please use link at top of page).
Congrats to everyone whose does achieved their stars this year.
